UK's Friendliest street

And the winner is...

Over the last few months we’ve received hundreds of entries to our UK’s Friendliest Street competition to win a fabulous celebration worth £5,000.

Our judges had the tricky task of selecting a shortlist of the best neighbourhoods, and once we found our top six outstanding entries, we put the voting to you.  

We've received hundreds of votes, and we can now announce that the winner is… Gateside in Fife, Scotland!

Gateside wins!

Congratulations to the residents of Gateside for becoming the winner of the UK’s Friendliest Street 2012!
The Scottish neighbourhood received 32 per cent of the votes for their outstanding acts of kindness and community spirit, and awarded £5,000 to spend on a big celebration of their choice...
