Celebs turn out in force to honour Tesco Mums of the Year 2012

Celebrities including Amy Childs, Pixie Lott and Jamelia turned out in force yesterday to celebrate the Tesco Mum of the Year Awards 2012 at the Waldorf Hilton in London.
Famous faces from the worlds of TV, radio and music began arriving on the red carpet at 1pm, before heading inside to mingle with the award-winning mums and other guests. Many celebrities had brought their mums with them, including Sugababe and Dancing on Ice contestant Heidi Range, Sinitta, Blue singer Lee Ryan, and Tesco Mum of the Year Ambassador Sara Cox.
Also at the event were Liz McClarnon and Michelle Heaton, Arlene Phillips OBE, Cherry Healey, Nicola McLean, EastEnders star John Partridge and Coronation Street actress Tupele Dorgu.
Guests were treated to live performances from XFactor contestant Mary Byrne, Grammy-award winner Estelle, and Amy Winehouse's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, who brought the audience to their feet with a cover version of Cee-Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’.
Speaking from the red carpet, Celebrity Mum of the Year Gabby Logan said: 'I feel really humbled and really really proud. It’s great to be in the company of all the other amazing mums who are being honoured today.'
Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis OBE, who was part of the award judging panel said: 'I’m really excited to see all the mums congregated in one room today.'
